.Salem Indoor Speedway is proud to announce that our Open Speedway Karts will be racing the 2011-2012 Indoor Season following the complete UAS Rulebook. We will also crown the first NW Region UAS Champion following our 7 race series. The first 6 races will be for Regional Points while BK4 will decide the Regional Champion and offer Quarter Points towards the UAS Grand Nationals. Mark Bergfelt, Founder/Executive Director of the UAS is excited to work with us by featuring our Series in Muscle Kart Magazine. There is a membership fee for this series of $15.00 standard and $30.00 includes membership and magazine. New memberships will be issued at the track during registration or if you are already a member you can renew thru the UAS National Office. Brc, wankel, sudam it will not matter if you dont have a car that handles REAL GOOD. A Yamaha won last year guys on Burris 55 tires. They ran good and handled that is the key. That motor made less then 30 hp! So now add 28 more per the dyno sheets ive seen and now your handling problem just got WAYYYY worse If you dont have the car right. Yes the hp will be nice but 8 sets of brand new cut tires sure will go a long way over the two days of racing when it counts.

True that #83...! You forgot to add in a little race day luck also. Not to take anything away from GT but he was about the 4th or 5th fastest kart. Everyone wrecked or broke in front of him! But still your point is well taken! Its gonna take the whole package and then some!
